Standards for respectful, purpose-based participation in Eduflexi community and mentorship experiences.

Eduflexi is a purpose-based community, not an unrestricted social network. Eduflexi community spaces exist for:
Members should interact respectfully and keep participation reasonably connected to these purposes.
The current Eduflexi Beta community is for adults 18 years of age or older.
The primary participant roles are Learners—adults exploring, beginning, changing, or progressing along a technology-related career or learning path—and Mentors—approved individuals who provide relevant guidance, experience, perspective, resources, or support.
Additional roles may be introduced as Eduflexi develops. Having an Eduflexi account does not provide unrestricted access to every participant, mentor, conversation, or group.
Eduflexi may organize community access according to participant role, selected path, group membership, mentorship relationship, Beta assignment, or other relevant permissions.
Learners may primarily interact with others connected to appropriate learning or career interests. Mentors may participate in designated mentor spaces and in learner-facing areas where their role permits.
Do not attempt to circumvent these permissions or gain access to restricted groups, profiles, communications, or information.
Do not:
Participants do not have to agree with one another, but discussions should remain constructive enough to serve the purpose of the community.
Being able to see information inside Eduflexi does not mean that information is public or free to redistribute. This includes:
Do not screenshot, repost, publish, or distribute private or restricted content outside its intended context without appropriate permission.
This does not prevent someone from preserving information reasonably necessary to report suspected misconduct, threats, safety concerns, or legal violations.
Learners are encouraged to help one another through relevant questions, experiences, resources, encouragement, and peer discussion. Do not:
Peer advice should be presented as personal experience or perspective when that is what it is—not falsely represented as guaranteed professional guidance.
Mentors are expected to:
Mentors must not use their role to pressure participants into personal, romantic, sexual, financial, political, religious, commercial, or other unrelated relationships or activities.
This does not prevent ordinary conversation or appropriate professional networking. The key distinction is between legitimate relationship-building and using a position of mentorship to exert inappropriate pressure or influence.
Mentors may provide suggestions, perspectives, resources, or examples based on their knowledge and experience. Mentorship does not guarantee:
Learners remain responsible for evaluating advice and making their own decisions.
Eduflexi may provide scheduled mentorship sessions and other permitted ways for mentors and learners to communicate. Participants should use the communication methods provided or approved for the applicable mentorship experience.
A mentorship relationship does not automatically authorize unlimited personal contact outside Eduflexi.
If participants voluntarily exchange external contact information, they remain responsible for their interactions outside the platform, and Eduflexi may have limited ability to monitor or address conduct occurring entirely outside its services.
Serious conduct involving an Eduflexi relationship may still be reported to Eduflexi where relevant to participant safety or platform access.
Eduflexi may allow learners and mentors to exchange images, documents, links, or other resources where the feature and relationship permit it. Do not share:
Mentors and learners may use permitted sharing features for legitimate collaboration—for example, sharing a project screenshot or resource for feedback.
Keep posts reasonably relevant to the community, group, or discussion where they appear. Before posting personal information, consider whether it is actually necessary.
Eduflexi may move, organize, limit, or remove content when reasonably necessary to maintain useful community spaces. Repeated spam, intentionally disruptive posting, or attempts to overwhelm discussions may result in restrictions.
Participants may sometimes discuss jobs, employers, certifications, educational programs, or other opportunities. Do not knowingly post fraudulent, deceptive, or materially misleading opportunities.
Unless Eduflexi explicitly identifies an opportunity as verified or formally partnered, its appearance in a community discussion should not be interpreted as an Eduflexi guarantee, endorsement, or formal partnership.
Participants should independently verify important details before providing money, sensitive information, or making significant career decisions.
Eduflexi community access should not primarily be used as a customer list or sales channel. Do not:
Legitimate resources or services relevant to a discussion may be mentioned when appropriate, provided the relationship or financial interest is disclosed when relevant.
If a mentor recommends a product, service, employer, program, course, certification, or other opportunity from which the mentor may financially benefit, that relationship should be clearly disclosed.
Mentorship should not be used primarily as a funnel into a mentor’s private paid services. Eduflexi may establish additional rules concerning referrals, affiliate relationships, outside services, or conflicts of interest as the mentorship program develops.
Eduflexi may provide designated spaces where mentors can communicate with one another, including:
Mentors should not unnecessarily disclose identifiable private information about individual learners when discussing broader patterns.
Appropriate example: “Several learners have asked how to choose between networking and IT support.” Not appropriate: providing a learner’s name and private mentorship details when that information isn’t necessary.
Eduflexi may measure operational information such as whether mentorship was booked, attended, cancelled, or followed by another platform action.
That does not mean the contents of a private mentorship conversation automatically become Beta research material, marketing material, or public community content.
If Eduflexi later wants to record sessions, systematically analyze private session content, publish participant stories, or use identifiable quotations, additional notice or permission may be required as appropriate.
Participants should report suspected violations, harassment, inappropriate mentor conduct, privacy concerns, scams, security issues, or other serious problems to Eduflexi. Reports should include enough information for Eduflexi to understand and review the concern.
Participants should make reports in good faith. Knowingly submitting fabricated reports to harass another participant may itself violate these Guidelines.
Eduflexi may review reported or observed activity when reasonably necessary to enforce these Guidelines, protect participants, maintain security, or operate the community. Eduflexi may:
Eduflexi may consider severity, context, repeated behavior, participant safety, and prior violations. Serious safety, fraud, security, or harassment issues may result in immediate restrictions.
Eduflexi is not an emergency service. If you believe someone is in immediate danger or an emergency is occurring, contact the appropriate emergency services or authorities rather than relying on an Eduflexi community report.
Eduflexi may update these Guidelines as the community and mentorship system develop. The date at the top identifies the most recent revision. Material changes affecting active participants may be communicated through the platform or other appropriate channels.
Questions or concerns about these Guidelines may be directed to Eduflexi using the contact information below.
